THE FESTIVAL

« Nomade Reggae Festival » is a project of the association Melodias of the World whose aim is to promote cultural diversity, promote cultural exchanges, live together, while supporting humanitarian projects.

After the success of the second edition, the objective of the third edition of the Nomade Reggae Festival, in addition to its aesthetic and cultural dimension, is to enhance the tourist visibility of the Val de Usses region and to raise public awareness of the values of International solidarity. This third edition wishes to highlight the work on the ground of the international solidarity associations, and especially the construction of the Socio-Medical Center Mélodies du Monde in the municipality of Sanankoroba in Mali. Part of the benefits of the second edition enabled us to acquire a ground for the implementation of this health center.
It will also provide guidance and support for women victims of moral and physical violence such as female circumcision, forced marriages or domestic violence. It will also be a place of literacy; Two rooms will be dedicated to the school support for the inhabitants of the commune of Sanankoraba (capital of the district of Mali).

Because this region is rich in history, ski resorts, mountainous landscapes and gastronomy, the Nomade Reggae Festival is intended to be a federative event where all the confused generation and people coming from the region and elsewhere are likely to come Vibrating together on the sunny rhythms of reggae and African music.
Melodies of the World obviously wishes to attract the local, national and international press to this type of cultural and humanitarian event.
